Can I connect an HDMI computer to a 15 pin audio projector?

HDMI is digital and VGA(15 pin) is analog so you need a converter like this one. Hopefully you can find something less expensive by searching for “HDMI to VGA converter” or something similar.

Yes it is possible but not cheap. HDMI is digital but the VGA signal is analog. They are not compatible unless you get an adapter such as:

    Hope this helps.

Not directly and not cheaply (You have to convert digital to analog).

    BTW, it isn’t a “15 pin audio” connector … it’s a VGA connector (i.e. video only).

That said, there is probably no advantage to doing so anyway. If the projector doesn’t have an HDMI input it probably isn’t digital capable … so just use VGA and use the highest resolution setting compatible with your projector.
