Wireless IP cameras are setup somewhere (wherever it’s guarding). There’s a reciever somewhere so that it can recieve what the camera(s) recordings.
The reciever is hooked up directly to the internet router/modem (or into a computer for some) and are streamed to the internet. Another person that has internet access can look through.
These are not very safe, due to the fact it’s streaming over the internet. If it saves the recording onto a hard drive, not connected to the internet, it’s safer. There are hackers/crackers who know how to get in and watch your cameras.
