there is also something called a remote DVR surveillance. 

Remote DVR surveillance provides you with many unique features and options that you just simply cannot get with standard surveillance methods. With remote DVR security systems, you not only have access to view and monitor video feeds remotely, you also have the ability to perform many administrative functions remotely as well.

		<description>In 1 condition and it&#039;s if user connect that IP phone to Lab top or something like this THAT HAS GSM MODEM in this case  it possible to have remote on this camera! or may he/she use LAN,MAN to be in a circle of a WEB service then can remote his camera.but it only a normal camera! and hasn&#039;t any connection to any PC or PDA or MAN,LAN its impossible.</description>

		<description>It&#039;s technologically possible, but the IP camera would need a phone line and a power source to do it&#039;s job. If these were supplied then you could watch the image on a web page via the net. A mile is too far for a wireless hub to pick up the signal even if the IP camera was wireless.</description>
